A new update ...at last

At long last I've finally got around to updating the site with some photographs kindly supplied by Nick Edginton of his freshly restored ex- John Crowson car and from Mark Milne of several period events, the Mk7 and some of Ian Scott's Megapins. Ian constructed a number of these terrapin 'evo' cars which also feature in some of Allan Staniforths's other books.

I wish everyone a happy new year...and hopefully I might even get around to doing some work on the Mk 5 SR!

The original ex Cramer / Sims Mk5 car as featured in the HSLC book has been found and after negotiations that became stretched out over a couple of years is now in my ownership.
The car has not run for over 20 years but is in good shape. I intend to restore it back to original specification / appearance and hopefully it might be out at an event in 2014.
A couple of restoration in progress photos will be published in the coming weeks. :-)
But in the meantime here is one of Terry Sims in action C.1974

Ron Champion has sent along some pictures of his rebuild of the the ex- Stuart Nix Terrapin. He is blazing on with the work at an incredible pace, having only acquired the car a couple of months ago! He is seen in the gallery being ably assisted with the task, by a friends daughter, Lucy. Good luck to them with the work, and we look forward to seeing their progress and results with further promised updates from Ron in the coming weeks! :)
